Key Issues Facing the Constituency
Water scarcity remains the most pressing concern for residents, affecting both drinking water supply and agricultural activities. The problem is exacerbated by excessive groundwater extraction for industrial purposes and inadequate desilting of water tanks. Voters are also demanding improvements in rural road infrastructure, enhanced youth employment opportunities, expanded healthcare and education facilities, and better irrigation projects such as check dams.
These issues continue to dominate the local political discourse, with the sitting MLA expected to address them ahead of the next assembly elections.
