Revanth Reddy Congratulates UDF on Kerala Win

Hyderabad: Calling it an 'extraordinary, hard-fought and inspiring victory,' Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Monday congratulated the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) alliance in Kerala for its triumph in the assembly elections.

Revanth Reddy's Message

In a post on X, Revanth extended his congratulations to Congress workers and leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Priyanka Gandhi, KC Venugopal, and Deepa Dasmunsi. He expressed personal gratitude to UDF supporters and the people of Kerala who showed him affection during his campaign in the state. 'I shall always be grateful and thank you on behalf of all the people of Telangana. We are two great states with people of great progressive values and democratic ethos, who believe in development and, after a decade of disappointment and betrayal, are set for a great future under the Congress government,' said Revanth.

Celebrations Across Kerala

Congress leaders and cadres celebrated the victory by distributing sweets and bursting firecrackers at Gandhi Bhavan and other locations across the state. Ministers and senior leaders credited CM Revanth's campaign in Kerala and his punchline 'Nee po mone Vijaya,' taken from actor Mohanlal's Malayalam movie, for resonating with voters.

Political Impact

Congress MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy noted that Revanth directly questioned Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan's policies. 'Revanth accused Vijayan of indirectly supporting the BJP and made the people aware of their alleged alliance, stating Vijayan is Modi and Modi is Vijayan,' he said. Minister D Sridhar Babu remarked that the results of the five-state elections conveyed a clear and decisive message in the landscape of Indian politics.
