The woman was identified by police as Priyanka Kumari, a native of Uttar Pradesh. She had entered into a love marriage with a resident of Chautarwa, and the couple has a child together. However, following a marital dispute, her husband left the area for work, leaving her distressed.

Upset over the situation, Priyanka traveled to her in-laws' village and climbed the mobile tower. Upon receiving information, police rushed to the spot and, with the assistance of locals, spent nearly an hour counseling her to come down. After prolonged persuasion, she descended safely, and the situation was brought under control without any injury.

Bagaha SDPO Nihar Bhushan stated, "The woman had come from Uttar Pradesh to meet her husband in Chautarwa. The man is currently away from home for work. When she could not meet him, she climbed the mobile tower. Upon receiving information, the police immediately reached the spot, counseled her, and safely brought her down."
