Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted a comprehensive review of the arrangements for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming visit to Lucknow. The Prime Minister is scheduled to inaugurate the newly constructed Rashtra Prerna Sthal on December 25.
High-Level Meeting Focuses on Grand Inauguration
Chairing a high-level review meeting on Saturday, CM Adityanath stated that this landmark project is poised to become a powerful emblem of national consciousness, cultural heritage, and pride. He emphasized that the statues of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, along with RSS stalwarts Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, will serve as a perennial source of inspiration. The CM believes these icons will motivate future generations to embrace ideals of national unity, humanism, and the vision of an Atmanirbhar Bharat.
Meticulous Planning for Security and Crowd Management
With an expected arrival of nearly two lakh people from across Uttar Pradesh, the Chief Minister assessed detailed plans for transport, parking layouts, bus routes, and the deployment of medical units. He directed officials to appoint nodal officers for every bus cluster, parking zone, and entry gate to ensure orderly management.
Adityanath issued strict instructions to the police and district administration to implement multi-layered security arrangements along VVIP routes, at the helipad, the main venue, and all public congregation areas. He stressed the importance of maintaining normal city traffic flow during the event, taking winter conditions into account.
Final Touches and Infrastructure Readiness
The CM instructed that all final touch-ups be completed within the stipulated timeline. This includes finishing work on landscaping, gardens, the museum, the amphitheatre, and road beautification projects. He underlined the need for clear signage for traffic diversions, parking, and pedestrian movement to guarantee smooth public access to the venue.
Seamless coordination was mandated across all fronts, including media management, reception arrangements, cultural programmes, and protocol-related components. The directive aims for a flawless and time-bound execution of the grand inauguration event.
