Antonio Felix Da Costa recently took to his Instagram Stories to share a video from his fishing trip, captioning it: “Home”. He could be seen standing on a cliff, fishing alongside others by the sea. The Portuguese driver appeared relaxed as he enjoyed the time off. He also shared a video from a long drive with his wife, Ines Castro, and their pet dogs. While the dogs sat in the back seat enjoying the view, da Costa was behind the wheel with Castro beside him. Another image showed Castro seated across a table at a restaurant.

Antonio Felix da Costa’s recent meeting with Prince Charles

Antonio Felix Da Costa has kept busy with a variety of activities during the month-long break following the last Formula E race in Madrid, which he won. It marked his second consecutive victory in Formula E, having also claimed top honours in Part 2 of the Jeddah E-Prix. The 34-year-old recently played host to Prince Charles during the royal’s visit to Jaguar’s technical headquarters in Oxfordshire. Prince Charles tried his hand at a Jaguar Formula E car and spoke with team staff about technological innovation and sustainability in competitive racing.

Antonio Felix da Costa riding high on Jeddah and Madrid success

Antonio Felix Da Costa’s latest win in Madrid was particularly special, as his family and friends were present to watch him race. Reflecting on the moment, the Jaguar driver said, “Honestly, it’s a dream day. To win in front of so much of my family, they see me leave the house and come back, sometimes happy, sometimes sad, sometimes healthy, sometimes not so healthy - and they usually only hear about it or we discuss it at the dinner table. But they were here today and don’t often get to see me race. So to do it in front of them is just amazing. I’m very happy with that and, you know, I am an emotional guy and today we just took it up a notch.” He currently sits fourth in the Formula E Drivers’ Standings with 64 points, just one point behind his Jaguar team-mate Mitch Evans in third place.
