The Bosch football team clinched the championship title at the highly competitive NICE DH Cup 2025, marking a spectacular start to the season. The tournament, known for its intense matches, concluded with Bosch lifting the trophy after a series of impressive performances.
Season Launch and Tournament Kick-off
The football season was inaugurated with a vibrant launch party on November 8. The event took place at Fox in the Field, Nexus Shantiniketan, Whitefield, Bengaluru. This high-energy gathering set a competitive tone for what would become one of the most fiercely contested editions of the tournament to date.
Bosch Team and Key Award Winners
The winning Bosch squad featured several key players who contributed to their success. The team included captain Noel S, goalkeeper Ajay M, and players Jayanth K S, Sahil Lamani, Dayanand P, Sandeep Krishna, Sunil Kumar K S, and Wency A.
Individual brilliance was also recognized during the awards ceremony. Striker Arun Kumar from the Bosch team received the Highest Goal Scorer award for his phenomenal tally of 38 goals throughout the tournament.
Furthermore, the Suriya Kumaran R C team Bosch was honored with the Best Goalkeeper award, a testament to their solid defensive record.
A Prestigious Awards Ceremony
The prize distribution was graced by notable personalities from sports journalism and the fitness community. Awards were presented by Girish R Doddamani, a sports journalist from Prajavani, and Dr. Gul Mohamed Akbar, a renowned marathoner and race director.
They were joined by Dr. Pooja Mohan of The Wellness Co and Sushma Sahitya from The Sports School. Dr. M. Gautham Machaiah, a journalist, was also present to witness the celebrations.
