Nagpur: Ghatansh Nimgade, Arayna Nangia, and Kanak Samudre secured gold medals in the gymnastics competition of the Khasdar Krida Mahotsav, which took place at Koradi's Taluka Sankul on Thursday. The event showcased outstanding performances across various age categories and disciplines.
U-10 Boys Category
In the U-10 boys category, Ghatansh Nimgade of DCC Club clinched the first position with 14.22 points. Shrinath Bokare from RGM Club finished second, collecting 14.15 points, while Abhang Raut of Phoenix Club claimed third place with 13.85 points.
U-10 Girls Category
Players from Phoenix Club dominated the U-10 girls group. Arayna Nangia won the gold medal with 26.60 points. Sargam Bal secured the silver medal with 23.70 points, and Ovi Peshkar earned the bronze medal with 23.25 points.
Girls Open Rhythmic Category
In the girls open rhythmic category, Achievers Club players made their mark. Kanak Samudre won the gold medal with 43.10 points. Ananya Deshpande claimed the silver medal, collecting 41.30 points, and Aradhya Taori secured the bronze medal with 41.10 points.
U-12 Boys Category
DCC Club players delivered a remarkable performance in the U-12 boys category, sweeping all medals. Sanil Vadade, Bhuvaswa Dukre, and Rajveer Gavas recorded a podium finish, occupying the top three positions.
Girls U-10 Rhythmic Event
In the girls U-10 rhythmic event, Jui Manjare of Achievers Club won the gold medal with 41.10 points. Shubhra Bute finished second with 40 points, and Anvaya Mohta of Nova Club claimed third place with 37.40 points.
U-12 Girls Rhythmic Event
In the U-12 girls rhythmic event, Shreya Paradkar (42.20 points), Ashira Legankar (41.90 points), and Advaya Nandanwar (37.70 points) claimed the top three positions, respectively.
The competition witnessed strong participation from various clubs, highlighting the growing talent in gymnastics in the region.
