In a remarkable achievement, Deepika of Vivekanand Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Chillar in Rewari district, has topped the Class XII examinations in Haryana with an impressive 99.8% marks. The daughter of a government teacher, Deepika scored 499 out of 500 in the Arts stream, emerging as the overall topper in the state.
Self-Study as the Key to Success
Deepika attributed her success to self-study, stating that she never attended any tuition classes. "Self-study was my success mantra," she said. Her disciplined approach and dedication have paid off, setting an example for students across the state. Deepika aspires to become an IAS officer and plans to prepare for the UPSC examination during her graduation years.
Second and Third Position Holders
Closely following Deepika is Udita of Vishvavara Kanya Gurukul, Rurki in Rohtak, who secured the second position with 99.6% marks (489 out of 500). Udita, originally from Baghpat in Uttar Pradesh, has her sights set on joining the Indian Army and has already begun preparing for the National Defence Academy (NDA) examination.
The third position is shared by two students: Yogita from Shiksha Bharti Global School in Jind and Muskan from Gyan Bharti Public School, Dhamtan Sahib in Jind district, both scoring 497 marks each. Both girls come from farming families and aspire to join the civil services. They credited their success to self-study, discipline, and the guidance of their teachers.
The achievements of these students highlight the importance of self-reliance and hard work in academic success. Their stories inspire many young learners to pursue their dreams with determination and focus.
