Nagpur: Mufti Ahmad Raza of Shivaji Night School emerged as the top scorer among night school students in the city's HSC examinations, achieving an impressive 72.33%. The results, announced recently, highlighted the outstanding performance of students who balance academics with work and family commitments.
Top Performers and Institutions
Taj Baba Night Junior College of Arts & Commerce, Mominpura, secured the first position among night junior colleges with a remarkable overall pass rate of 74%. Following closely behind Mufti Ahmad Raza were Syed Nashit Husain Mirahmed Hussan Arif of Taj Baba Night Junior College with 68.83% and Mufti Mustanseer Quraishi of Shivaji Night School with 68.67%.
Other institutions also recorded commendable results: Nagpur Night Junior College, Mahal, achieved a 56.25% pass rate; Shri Shivaji Night Junior College, Sevasadan, registered 52%; Arts & Commerce Night Junior College, Mahal, secured 51.8%; Narendra Night Junior College, Siraspeth, posted 50%; and Jawahar Night Junior College, Sitabuldi, recorded 35%.
Detailed College-wise Results
At Taj Baba Night Junior College, the top students included Syed Nashit Husain Mirahmed Hussan Arif with 68.83%, Samiya Firdous with 65%, and Rehan Ahmad Kalim Ahmad with 64.50%. In the Commerce stream, Sarbaj Alam Mohd Sartaj scored 59.17%, followed by Arbaz Khan Ayyub Khan with 56.17% and Arif Sheikh Mohammad Zakir Sheikh with 55.50%.
Nagpur Night Junior College, Mahal, recorded a pass rate of 52.77% in Arts and 60.71% in Commerce. In Arts, Aruna Athor led with 52.67%, followed by Shraddha Khobragade with 51.67% and Rekha Shende with 50.67%. In Commerce, Nirmala Hedau topped with 56.17%, followed by Laxmikant Bhanarkar with 50.67% and Sachin Nikode with 47.67%.
Besides Mufti Ahmad Raza, standout students from Shivaji Night School included Mufti Mustanseer Quraishi with 68.67% and Maulana Danish with 67.17%.
