Rafael Nadal Urges Academy Graduates to Keep Learning

Rafael Nadal delivered an emotional message to students as the 10th graduating class of the Rafa Nadal Academy celebrated a major milestone on Tuesday. A total of 47 students from around the world completed their studies and marked the end of their academic journey at the academy in Manacor, Spain.

Graduation Ceremony Highlights

The graduation ceremony brought together students, families, coaches, and special guests. Former World No. 1 Ana Ivanovic joined Nadal for the event and spoke directly to the graduates as they prepared for the next chapter of their lives. While many students are now moving toward higher education and professional opportunities, Nadal reminded them that learning should never stop.

Speaking to the graduates, the 22-time Grand Slam champion encouraged them to stay curious and continue working on themselves no matter where life takes them. He also told them to cherish the memories they created at the academy and remember that it would always remain a place they could call home.

Rafael Nadal Urges Graduates to Keep Learning

Nadal's speech focused on growth, learning, and staying open to new opportunities. The Spanish tennis legend acknowledged that some students already know what they want to do next, while others are still figuring out their future.

"From today, you'll take on new challenges and new opportunities. Some of you will have your path very clear, and others will still be discovering it. What matters is to always keep your curiosity, your desire to learn, and the attitude of continuing to improve," Rafael Nadal said.

"Wherever life takes you. I hope you will always remember your time here with affection and pride. I hope that many years from now you will still feel that this academy will always be your home," he added.

Ana Ivanovic also shared a message with the graduates. The 2008 Roland Garros champion told them that success may come and go, but values and character stay with a person for life.

"Don't forget that success comes and goes but the way you are as a person and the values that you have carry you much longer and stay with you forever. Be kind to you and enjoy the person you choose to be," Ivanovic said.

Rafael Nadal Reflects on New Museum

The graduation celebration comes only weeks after the opening of the new Rafa Nadal Museum in Manacor. The museum, built around the theme "Inside the Legend," gives visitors a closer look at Nadal's life both on and off the tennis court.

Speaking about the project, Nadal said his original vision for the museum was different, but he trusted the people around him and listened to their ideas throughout the process.

"When it came to the main idea for the museum, a different path was taken to the one I had in mind. My idea was to make a museum a bit more about sport, not so personal. If there's one thing I've done in my life, it's listen," Nadal said.

Since retiring in 2024, Nadal has spent much of his time working with his academy and foundation, helping create opportunities and support systems for children and families.
