"Any hat you see with the Red Bull logo on it is only for athletes; like, you can't buy a Red Bull hat with just the Red Bull logo," he explained. He clarified that while fans can purchase hats featuring the Trackhouse logo or the Red Bull Racing logo, the plain Red Bull logo hat is reserved exclusively for the brand's sponsored athletes.
This exclusivity is enforced with serious consequences. Zilisch emphasized, "If you are an athlete and you give a hat to somebody, and you get caught, like, you can get fired." This rule underscores the prestige and privilege associated with being part of Red Bull's select group of athletes, which Zilisch estimates includes only a couple hundred individuals worldwide.

Zilisch highlighted how this exclusive hat serves as a subtle identifier among Red Bull athletes. "Whenever you are at an event or if you're out and about and you see someone with a hat, unless they've bought a knockoff one off eBay or something, most of the time, they're a professional athlete," he noted.
