Kanpur: Shahbaz's unbeaten knock of 155 runs enabled Friends Club to beat Golden Sporting by 85 runs and earn full points in the KDMA league tie held at the RPCA ground here on Tuesday.
Friends Club Batting
Friends Club, batting first, scored 265 for 5 wickets, with Shahbaz remaining unbeaten on 155 runs. Abhijeet Kumar contributed 42 runs and Shashank Parihar added 26 runs. For Golden Sporting, Saumya Pal took 2 wickets for 37 runs.
Golden Sporting Innings
In reply, Golden Sporting Club could only manage 180 runs, losing the match. Raj Singh top-scored with 49 runs, Yash Pandey made 41, Divya Pratap Singh scored 31, and Adhyayan Gupta remained unbeaten on 20. Abhijeet Kumar and Mohd Hasan took 3 wickets each for Friends Club.

At Gems ground, Friends Sporting defeated City Club by 152 runs. Friends Sporting scored 260 for 5, with Utkarsh Yadav hitting 109 runs and Bhanu Pratap scoring 66. Rohit Kamal contributed 29. In reply, City Club was bowled out for 108, with Priyanshu Gupta top-scoring with 57. Bhanu Pratap took 4 wickets for 16 runs, Rohit Kamal claimed 3 for 18, and Utkarsh Yadav took 2 for 35.
BCA vs National Youth Club
At PAC ground, BCA beat National Youth Club by 4 wickets. National Youth posted 234 for 9, thanks to Divyanshu Pandey's 104 and Arush Kashyap's 50. Shaurya Thakur added 22. Ramratan took 2 for 39 and Balram Singh 2 for 52. BCA reached 238 for 5, with Fardeen Ali scoring 103, Shivansh Sharma 58, and Dhanesh Verma remaining unbeaten on 30. Shaurya Thakur took 2 for 35.
U-15 Cricket Tournament
In the late Moti Ram U-15 cricket tournament at Sapru ground, ML Bhatnagar XI defeated Narendra Pandey XI by 5 wickets. Narendra Pandey XI was bowled out for 129, with Aryan Pal scoring 41. Raj Singh took 3 for 14, Virat Shukla 2 for 8, Tanush Awasthi 2 for 17, and Shaurya Upadhyaya 2 for 33. ML Bhatnagar XI reached 133 for 5, with Shaurya Upadhyaya remaining unbeaten on 39. Sikand Sengar took 2 for 5.
CCL T-20 League
In a CCL T-20 match held under floodlights at Sapru ground on Monday evening, Matador Foam XI beat Crazy Rangers by 33 runs. Matador Foam XI scored 174 for 9, with Rizwan Ansari hitting 64, Aviral Rawat 37, and Ashish Bajpai unbeaten on 23. Bharat Pandey took 4 for 35 and Rishabh Pathak 3 for 15. Crazy Rangers were bowled out for 141, with Rishabh Pathak scoring 79 and Vineet Rastogi 20. Anil Gupta took 3 for 20, Mission Gupta 2 for 22, and Santosh Gupta 2 for 30. Rizwan Ansari was named Man of the Match.
