The event, held at the iconic Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, saw Antil clear an impressive distance of 69.25 meters to finish on top of the combined classification event on Day 2.

Javelin Throw F43/F44/F64 Final Highlights

The highlight of the day undoubtedly came in the men’s javelin throw F43/F44/F64 final. Antil's stellar performance left his competitors trailing far behind. Pushpendra Singh secured a distant second place with a throw of 56.91 meters, while Poonam Ram finished third with a mark of 49.48 meters.

Antil expressed that his achievement exceeded his own expectations, emphasizing his commitment to steady progress. "I am not changing my technique because we know we are moving in the right direction in our training," he stated. "I am targeting the Asian Games, and the goal is 75 meters." Beyond the javelin, the track events also delivered thrilling performances. In the men’s 400m T53/T54 final, Gurjokumar Sabapathi emerged victorious with a time of 54.33 seconds. He was followed by Manoj Kumar, who clocked 57.57 seconds, and Vikandan Jothi, finishing in 1:01.94 seconds.

In the women’s 400m T20 final, Natalia Sainchina claimed first place with a time of 1:00.52 seconds. Additionally, Shailesh Kumar won the men’s long jump T42/T63 event with a leap of 5.47 meters, adding to India's medal tally.
