The Tennessee Titans have endured a difficult period on the field over the last few seasons, recording just 3 wins and 14 losses in both 2024 and 2025. Although many expected the team to rebound in the most recent campaign, the consecutive poor performances have sparked concern among fans and analysts. Amid the struggles, the Titans have been linked to a high-profile wide receiver.
Titans Could Pursue Stefon Diggs
The Tennessee Titans might make a move for former New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs, who remains an unrestricted free agent. A few days ago, Sports Illustrated's Mike Kadlick predicted that the Titans could land Diggs, citing a prior connection with offensive coordinator Brian Daboll from their time together with the Buffalo Bills.
Kadlick noted, “And finally, every veteran receiver’s favorite final destination, the Titans. Diggs already has a rapport with Tennessee offensive coordinator Brian Daboll from their time together with the Bills…” He added, “It would bring a veteran presence as the team looks to bring along last year’s No. 1 draft pick in Cam Ward. The top end of the Titans’ wide receiver room is currently made up of Calvin Ridley, Wan’Dale Robinson and Chimere Dike.” Kadlick continued, “Diggs already knows the type of offensive system Tennessee is looking to run, and would be a no-brainer signing for a team looking to turn over a new leaf under head coach Robert Saleh.”
No Official Response from Titans
However, the Tennessee Titans have not responded to the speculation regarding a potential deal with Stefon Diggs. Over the last few seasons, Diggs has established himself as one of the most reliable players in the league. After an injury-plagued 2024 season, he signed a lucrative contract with the New England Patriots worth $63.5 million. The 32-year-old wide receiver proved his worth on the field, finishing the 2025 season with 85 receptions for 1,013 yards and 4 touchdowns across 17 regular-season games.
Interest from Other Teams
Although Diggs has expressed interest in joining the Washington Commanders, nothing has been confirmed as he remains an unrestricted free agent. The Titans, looking to rebuild under new head coach Robert Saleh, could benefit from his veteran presence and familiarity with the offensive system.
