Fifth Arrupe Cup Tournament Concludes in Jaipur

The fifth edition of the Arrupe Cup Football, Basketball, and Volleyball Tournament for boys and girls, organized by St. Xavier's School in Nevta, Jaipur, concluded successfully recently. This grand annual sports festival began on April 30 and saw enthusiastic participation from over 109 schools across Jaipur.

Closing Ceremony Highlights

Retired Director General of Police (DGP) Manoj Bhatt served as the chief guest at the closing ceremony. Encouraging the players, he described sports as an important medium for developing discipline, team spirit, and leadership skills. St. Xavier's School, Nevta Principal Fr Sangeeth Raj S.J. informed that the tournament was a huge success with over 109 school teams from Jaipur participating.

In his inspiring address, Fr John Ravi, the school's administrator, encouraged the current generation of athletes to draw inspiration from players like Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Sanju Samson, and Jemimah Rodrigues. He also congratulated the sports department for successfully organizing this grand competition. At the end of the ceremony, trophies and prizes were presented to the winning and runner-up teams.
