Punjab to Host National Badminton Championship After 40-Year Gap

According to Ritin Khanna, honorary secretary of the Punjab Badminton Association, the championship will be held from December 9 to 12 at the Raizada Hansraj Badminton Stadium in Jalandhar. This marks a momentous occasion, as the last national badminton championship in Punjab was held in 1987, also in Jalandhar, making this a long-awaited return after 40 years.
Khanna elaborated that approximately 350 players from 33 states and Union Territories are expected to participate in the competition.
