Kanpur: In a dominant display, all-women side Angel Women thrashed City Club by 10 wickets in a KDMA League match played at RPCA Ground on Monday.
City Club's Batting Collapse
Batting first, City Club managed a modest total of 98 runs. Isha Pandey and Siddhi Mishra wreaked havoc with the ball, claiming 4 and 3 wickets respectively. Priyanshu Gupta was the top scorer for City Club with 18 runs.
Angel Women's Chase
In reply, Angel Women chased down the target without losing a wicket. Babita remained unbeaten on 50 runs, while Ekta Singh scored an unbeaten 39 runs to guide their team to victory.

In the Late Motiram Advocate U-15 Cricket Tournament at Sapru Ground, Bhola Singh XI defeated Narendra Pandey XI by 28 runs. Bhola Singh XI scored 202, with Vedic remaining unbeaten on 44. Narendra Pandey XI managed 174, with Skand Sengar scoring 50.
U-19 Day and Night Cricket Tournament
RVS Cricket Academy will organize the first Sandesh Foundation Under-19 Day and Night T20 Cricket Tournament at Sapru Ground in the second week of June 2026. Interested teams can submit entries with registration fees at Ram Sports, Zareen Chauki, and Sapru Ground by May 29, 2026.
