The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially addressed and denied recent media speculation regarding Virat Kohli's potential return to Test cricket. BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia categorically stated that no discussions have taken place with the former Test captain about reversing his retirement decision.
In an exclusive statement to AajTak, Saikia emphasized: "What's being said about Virat Kohli is just a rumour. There has been no conversation with Kohli about this. Do not give weight to rumours. Nothing of that sort has happened."

The speculation about Kohli's potential Test return gained significant momentum following India's recent struggles in Test cricket.
