Cantonment Football Club delivered a commanding performance to defeat Super Striker Club 3-0 and clinch the 7-a-side football tournament held at Azad Park in Kanpur. The match saw Satyendra Yadav emerge as the star player, scoring two brilliant goals in the first half.
First Half Dominance
Satyendra Yadav opened the scoring in the ninth minute with a blistering strike from 20 yards that left the goalkeeper with no chance. Just two minutes later, he showcased his dribbling skills by dodging a couple of defenders to net his second goal, giving Cantonment FC a comfortable 2-0 lead at halftime.
Second Half Decisive Goal
In the second half, Sameer sealed the victory with a well-taken third goal, following a precise forward pass from Sabir. The Cantonment defense held firm, ensuring a clean sheet for their goalkeeper.
Semi-Final Results
Earlier in the tournament, Cantonment Club dominated Unnao Stadium with a 4-0 victory in the semi-finals. Super Striker Club also advanced by defeating University FC 2-1 in a closely contested match.

MLA Suhail Ansari presented the trophies and cash prizes to the winners and runners-up. Satyendra Yadav was named Man of the Match for his outstanding performance. Pratham Singh received the top scorer trophy, while Mohd Arib and Shubhankit Shukla were declared the best players of the tournament. Hamza Asif was awarded the best goalkeeper trophy, and Johad Akhtar took home the trophy for best emerging player.
