Jhajjar: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini is set to visit Munimpur village in the Badli constituency on June 17, where he will inaugurate the newly established Floriculture and Seed Production Centre of Excellence. During the visit, he will also unveil a series of development projects aimed at enhancing the region's agricultural and horticultural landscape.
Preparations Underway for High-Profile Visit
With the visit approaching, district authorities have ramped up preparations to ensure a smooth event. On Monday, former Haryana minister and BJP national secretary Om Prakash Dhankhar, along with Deputy Commissioner Varsha Khangwal, conducted a detailed inspection of the venue. They reviewed arrangements related to security, traffic management, parking facilities, and public amenities.
Centre to Boost Modern Horticulture
The centre is expected to emerge as a major hub for modern horticultural practices in the state. Officials stated that the facility would provide farmers access to advanced cultivation techniques, high-quality planting material, and scientific production systems. This will help farmers diversify into high-value crops and improve farm incomes.
Experts believe the centre will play a pivotal role in encouraging flower cultivation and quality seed production, creating new economic opportunities for farmers in the region.
