Academy Inauguration and Message
Speaking at the event, Seechewal said, "Sikhism teaches us to respect and protect nature. Polluting our environment is a sin against the principles of our faith." He urged the youth to not only excel in sports but also become ambassadors of environmental protection.
Focus on Sikh Teachings
The MP highlighted that Guru Nanak Dev Ji's philosophy emphasizes the sanctity of nature. "We must preserve our rivers, air, and soil for future generations. Our actions today determine the world we leave behind," he added.
The cricket academy aims to provide training to young talent in the region. Seechewal expressed hope that the academy would produce players who represent the nation while upholding ethical values.
Local residents and cricket enthusiasts welcomed the initiative, praising the MP's dual focus on sports and environmental awareness. The academy is expected to nurture budding cricketers and promote a culture of ecological responsibility.
