Mumbai Indians batting coach Kieron Pollard has been fined 20 percent of his match fees for breaching the Indian Premier League (IPL) Code of Conduct during the team's match against Delhi Capitals at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday.

The breach occurred during the 13th over of Delhi Capitals' innings when Pollard was seen arguing with the umpires after a wide ball was not called. The former West Indies captain was found guilty of violating the IPL Code of Conduct relating to 'breach of the Code of Conduct for Players and Team Officials'.

In a statement, the IPL said: 'Kieron Pollard, batting coach of Mumbai Indians, has been fined 20 percent of his match fees for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during the match against Delhi Capitals. Pollard committed a Level 1 offence under Article 2.2 of the IPL Code of Conduct. He admitted to the offence and accepted the sanction.'
Level 1 offences include 'public criticism of or inappropriate comments in relation to an incident occurring in a match' or 'inappropriate public comments in relation to a match official's decision'.
