Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain Ajinkya Rahane has shed light on the team's decision to persist with spinner Varun Chakravarthy despite the bowler suffering from multiple injuries during the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season. Rahane emphasized that Chakravarthy's unique skill set and ability to turn matches around made him indispensable, even when he was not at full fitness.
