Toyota Kirloskar Motor has silently increased the prices of the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 in the Indian market. The luxury SUV has received a price hike of up to Rs 2.15 lakh, with updated prices now starting at Rs 2.18 crore (ex-showroom).
Variants and Pricing
The Toyota Land Cruiser 300 is available in India in two variants: ZX and GR-S. The price of the ZX trim has been increased, while the GR-S variant remains unchanged at Rs 2.25 crore (ex-showroom).
Powertrain and Performance
Under the hood, the Land Cruiser 300 is powered by a 3.3-litre twin-turbo V6 diesel engine that churns out 309 hp and 700 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 10-speed automatic torque converter transmission and features a full-time 4WD system for all-wheel drive.
Design and Dimensions
The SUV boasts a boxy design with a large front grille and a chrome strip spanning the width below the three-pod LED headlamps. The GR variant gets black alloy wheels, GR-specific badging, and a black-and-red cabin layout. The LC300 measures 4986 mm in length, 1980 mm in width, 1955 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2850 mm, a ground clearance of 230 mm, a water wading capacity of 700 mm, and 20-inch alloy wheels.

The Land Cruiser 300 comes loaded with features such as 4-zone climate control, a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a sunroof, front- and rear-seat ventilation, an 8-way powered driver's seat with manual lumbar adjustment, a cool box under the front centre armrest, 10 airbags, a 360-degree camera, connected car technology, a digital instrument cluster, a leatherette finish for the gear knob, a four-camera off-road monitoring system, active traction control, a powered tailgate, front and rear differential locks, a limited-slip differential at the rear, and Level 2 ADAS.
Competition
The Toyota Land Cruiser 300 competes with the Mercedes-Benz G Wagon, the Lexus LX, and the Land Rover Defender in the Indian market.
