Playing against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2026 Eliminator, Sooryavanshi remained unbeaten on 175 runs off just 67 deliveries, an innings that included 16 sixes and 12 fours.

Sooryavanshi's knock surpassed the previous record held by Virender Sehwag, who scored 122 in an Eliminator for Kings XI Punjab in 2014.
