The May 11 edition of WWE RAW took place at the Food City Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. The show kicked off with a huge six-man tag team match, saw the in-ring debut of a former NXT star, and a scuffle between Paige and Brie Bella and The Judgment Day. Following some exciting matches, the show ended with Jacob Fatu decimating Roman Reigns and his cousins, The Usos.
The Vision vs. The Street Profits and Joe Hendry
The match followed the opening segment between the two sides, which featured a heated verbal exchange. The bout was a chaotic yet fast-paced match. As the match approached its final moments, Seth Rollins came out and attacked Bron Breakker. The distraction allowed Angelo Dawkins to roll up Austin Theory for the win for his team.
Je'Von Evans vs. Rusev
This match started after an altercation involving Penta, Je'Von Evans, Ethan Page, and Rusev. The bout began and in a surprise turn of events, Evans managed to display a great showing against the dominant Rusev. Moreover, he even picked up the victory over The Bulgarian Brute by delivering an OG Cutter.
Sol Ruca vs. IYO Sky
Former NXT star Sol Ruca had her first official match as a RAW superstar against IYO Sky. Both high-flying and highly athletic stars delivered one of the most enthralling bouts of the night. In the final moments of the match, Ruca attempted a Sol Snatcher, only for IYO to roll her up for the win.
Oba Femi's Open Challenge
RAW GM Adam Pearce came out to tell Oba Femi that no one wanted to accept his open challenge. This angered him, and he went backstage, only to find and drag both Angel and Berto to the ring for an impromptu match. The Ruler destroyed both superstars at once and picked up the victory after delivering a thunderous Fall from Grace on Berto.
Dominik Mysterio vs. Original El Grande Americano
This match saw Dominik Mysterio defend his AAA Mega Championship against the Original El Grande Americano. It was a highly captivating bout between two of the best luchadors of today. The ending of the bout saw El Grande Americano and his cohorts, Los Americanos, interfere only to be neutralized by The Creed Brothers. Amid the chaos, Mysterio managed to hit the 619 and pick up the victory to retain his title.
Roman Reigns' Acknowledgment Ceremony
Roman Reigns came out with Jimmy Uso to the ring. The fans then saw Jacob Fatu arriving in the building. As Jey Uso tried to stop him from any physical altercation, he attacked him. Fatu then came out, laid out Jimmy, and headed to the ring to brawl with Reigns. The Samoan Werewolf completely snapped and left Reigns decimated on the outside of the ring by putting him through a table. As he was leaving, Fatu came back running and speared Reigns, Jimmy, and Jey through the barricade with officials trying to stop him.
