Nagpur: A 20-year-old youth lost his life after a speeding car allegedly collided with the motorcycle he was riding on Kamptee Road on Friday night. The accident took place opposite Lamba Celebration Hall.
Accident Details
Complainant Pintu Barapatre (40) and his son Nilesh (20) were returning home on a motorcycle when a black car struck them. The impact was severe, throwing both off the bike.
Hospital Response
Passersby rushed the duo to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared Nilesh dead upon arrival. Pintu Barapatre sustained injuries and is undergoing treatment.
Legal Action
A case has been registered against the unidentified car driver under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and Motor Vehicles Act. Police are investigating the incident.
