The minimum temperature settled at 28.2 degrees Celsius, aligning with the long-term average for the season.

IMD Forecast for Ahmedabad and Gujarat

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature in Ahmedabad is expected to remain around 43 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. For the state of Gujarat, the IMD has predicted no significant change in maximum temperatures over the next three days. Following this period, a gradual decline of 2 to 3 degrees Celsius is likely. However, isolated pockets across the state may continue to experience maximum temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius for the next seven days.

Hot and Humid Conditions Ahead

The weather forecast indicates that until May 28, coastal regions of Gujarat are likely to face hot and humid conditions. Thunderstorms accompanied by light to moderate rain are expected in several districts. On May 30, Sabarkantha, Aravalli, and Mahisagar districts may witness thunderstorms. The following day, May 31, similar weather is anticipated in Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Panchmahal, Dahod, and Mahisagar districts.

Hottest Locations in Gujarat

Surendranagar emerged as the hottest weather station in the state on Tuesday, recording a maximum temperature of 44.3 degrees Celsius. It was followed by Ahmedabad at 43.2 degrees, Rajkot at 42.7 degrees, and Bhavnagar at 42.2 degrees Celsius.
