Dr Devendra Kumar delivered his best performance yet in the 10 to 16 handicap category, scoring 42 points to emerge victorious in the third edition of the monthly medal N C Dutta Memorial Golf tournament. The event was recently held at the Rambagh Golf Club in Jaipur.
Outstanding Achievements
In addition to his overall win, Dr Devendra Kumar also secured first-place finishes in the near-to-pin and straightest drive categories on Hole No. 2. He hit the ball just 4 feet from the pin and 2 inches closer to the line for the straightest drive. With this all-around performance, he became the first golfer to achieve three awards simultaneously in any tournament at the club.
Club Rules and Recognition
However, according to club rules, only one person is entitled to receive the award. As a result, the award was given to the winner of the 10 to 16 category. Despite this, Dr Devendra Kumar's exceptional performance was widely recognized.
