Porsche driver Nico Muller is heading to China for the Sanya E-Prix with renewed confidence after securing a podium finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The Formula E driver competed in the LMP2 category at the prestigious endurance race, driving for Inter Europol Competition alongside two other teammates in the World Endurance Championship. He finished second in the race and shared his memorable experience on Instagram.

Nico Muller posted several memorable pictures from the 24 Hours of Le Mans on Instagram. In his caption, he wrote: "P2 at the 24h Le Mans 2026. We were in the fight for the LMP2 win all the way, but just came short at the end. Congrats to the Nr.43 crew, very deserving winners. What an effort by everyone from @intereuropolcompetition - a double victory in such a class field is a massive statement, BRAVO! His teammates had only positive remarks about him. Tom Dillmann commented: "Great drive and great teammate, thank you for a fun 10 days!" Nick Yelloly added: "Good to be in the same team finally mate!!! Pleasure to work with you."
Several other Formula E drivers also participated in the Le Mans race, including Antonio Felix da Costa, Nyck de Vries, Sebastien Buemi, and Norman Nato. Nyck de Vries's Toyota Racing team went on to win this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Nico Muller ahead of Antonio Felix da Costa in Formula E this season
Nico Muller has performed exceptionally well this season after moving from Andretti to Porsche. He currently sits fifth in the Formula E Drivers' Standings with 83 points, one place ahead of former Porsche driver Antonio Felix da Costa, who moved to Jaguar TCS Racing this season. Muller finished second at the Miami E-Prix before claiming victory at the challenging Berlin E-Prix.
On Tuesday, he shared a short video from Zurich International Airport as he departed for China to compete in the Sanya E-Prix. Round 11 of the Formula E season is scheduled to take place this weekend on 20 June.
