Amazon has officially announced that Prime Day 2026 will take place in July in India, marking the tenth edition of the shopping festival in the country. The company promises blockbuster deals, savings, new launches, and exclusive entertainment for Prime members, making this year's event its most expansive yet.
Global Prime Day Schedule
Prime Day will kick off in June across Austria, Belgium, Canada, Colombia, Egypt, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Turkiye, UAE, UK, and the US. Customers in Australia, Brazil, Japan, and India will join the sale in July.
Growing Value of Prime in India
Amazon highlighted the growing value of Prime Sale in India. In 2025, Prime members enjoyed 55 crore products delivered the same or next day, a 40% year-on-year increase. On average, members saved twice the cost of an annual Prime membership, underscoring the program's affordability.
Indian Prime members also benefit from Amazon Now, which offers delivery within minutes in select cities, free unlimited Same-Day delivery on 10 lakh products, Next-Day delivery on 40 lakh products, and 4-hour delivery on over 40,000 top-selling items. Exclusive offers include free delivery on orders above Rs 99 and cashback of Rs 200 on purchases over Rs 1,399.
