A 31-year-old homemaker died due to an electric shock suspected to have been caused by a washing machine in Bengaluru. The tragic incident occurred near Nelamangala on the city outskirts, just a day after C Sujatha celebrated her 11th wedding anniversary.

According to police reports, Sujatha attempted to switch on the washing machine around 8 a.m. when she allegedly suffered an electric shock and collapsed. Family members immediately rushed her to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her dead on arrival.

Sujatha was married to Chethan for 11 years, and the couple had a nine-year-old son. Chethan's family denied any allegations of harassment, maintaining that they did not subject her to any distress. The couple celebrated their wedding anniversary on Sunday and performed a pooja at their residence.
