Mumbai: Central Railway has extended the Traffic & Power Block at Platforms 16 and 17 of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) for redevelopment work being executed by the Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA). The block will now continue until June 13. During this extended period, foundation work and other essential redevelopment activities will be undertaken at the affected platforms.
Impact on Train Services
As a result of the extended block, several Mail/Express services will continue to be short-terminated. Some trains will terminate at Dadar, while others will terminate at Thane, an official confirmed.
