The Gujarat State Examination Board has revised the examination date for candidates aspiring to become assistant education inspectors. Initially scheduled for June 7, the Assistant Education Inspectors Aptitude Test (AEIAT) will now be conducted on June 13. This decision was made after it was discovered that the Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) had also scheduled its Class 1 and Class 2 examinations on the same day.
Due to this scheduling conflict, numerous candidates who had registered for both examinations expressed concerns about their inability to attend both tests. Taking these representations into account and prioritizing the interests and future prospects of the candidates, the board decided to postpone the AEIAT main examination by one week. An official notification announcing the revised schedule has been issued and shared with all relevant authorities.
The board had previously announced the results of the AEIAT aptitude test conducted for direct recruitment. Subsequently, in accordance with prescribed rules and provisions, the process of shortlisting candidates for the main examination was completed. A merit list of eligible candidates was released on May 7. The board has urged all eligible candidates to continue their preparations in line with the revised examination date. Candidates have also been advised to regularly visit the official website for updates regarding exam centers, hall tickets, and any further notifications.
This change aims to ensure that candidates do not miss out on either opportunity, reflecting the board's commitment to facilitating a smooth recruitment process. The revised date provides candidates with additional time to prepare and resolve any logistical issues that may have arisen from the initial clash.
