The state's centralized Class 11 admission process encountered fresh trouble on Friday when the official admission portal repeatedly crashed, leaving thousands of students and parents struggling to complete registrations.
Technical Glitches Prompt Extension
Following widespread complaints over technical glitches, the School Education department has once again extended the registration deadline until May 25. The online admission process for First Year Junior College (FYJC) admissions began on May 21. However, within hours of its launch, students across Maharashtra reported difficulties accessing the website.
Previous Extension and Persistent Issues
The department had earlier extended the deadline from May 23 after the portal malfunctioned on the opening day itself. Despite the extension, problems persisted on Friday, with students spending hours trying to fill forms and upload details.
Students expressed frustration as the portal crashed repeatedly, causing delays in the submission of applications. Parents also voiced concerns about the lack of a smooth process, with many unable to complete registrations even after multiple attempts.
The School Education department has assured that steps are being taken to resolve the technical issues and ensure a seamless experience for all applicants. The extended deadline aims to accommodate those affected by the glitches.
