In two separate incidents reported in Chandigarh, miscreants on motorcycles snatched mobile phones from residents and fled the scenes. The police have registered cases against unidentified individuals and initiated investigations.

First Incident in Khuda Lahora

Sunita, a resident of Khuda Lahora village, filed a complaint stating that three individuals on a motorbike snatched her phone near a government school in the area. She immediately reported the matter to the Sarangpur police station. After recording her statement and verifying the facts, the police registered a case against unknown persons. Authorities are now scrutinizing CCTV footage from cameras installed near the crime scene to identify the suspects.

Second Incident in Manimajra

In a separate case, Sohan Ram of Manimajra reported that two individuals on a motorcycle approached him from behind and snatched his mobile phone from his hands. The perpetrators then fled on their bike. With the assistance of a passer-by, Ram contacted emergency services via 112. Manimajra police responded to the call, reached the spot, recorded his statement, and launched a probe.
