Motorola is gearing up to expand its budget smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Moto G37 Power and Moto G37. The company has officially confirmed that both devices will debut in the country on May 19, 2026. The upcoming smartphones are expected to offer significant upgrades over their predecessors, particularly in terms of performance and software.
Key Specifications and Features
Both the Moto G37 Power and Moto G37 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset. This octa-core processor is built on a 6nm process and promises improved efficiency and performance for everyday tasks and light gaming. The devices will run Android 16 out of the box, making them among the first in the budget segment to feature the latest version of Google's operating system.
Moto G37 Power: Battery and Display
The Moto G37 Power is expected to feature a massive 6,000mAh battery, continuing the brand's tradition of offering long-lasting battery life in its Power series. It will likely support 30W fast charging. The phone is rumored to sport a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling. The rear camera setup may include a 50MP primary sensor accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens.
Moto G37: Balanced Performance
The standard Moto G37 is expected to come with a 5,000mAh battery and 20W charging support. It may feature a similar display and camera configuration as the Power variant but with a slightly different design. Both phones are likely to offer 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD card.
Expected Pricing and Availability
Motorola has not yet revealed the pricing details for the Moto G37 series. However, given the company's pricing strategy in India, the Moto G37 is expected to be priced around Rs 10,000, while the Moto G37 Power could be priced around Rs 12,000. The devices will be available for purchase through Flipkart and Motorola's official website. More details are expected to be announced at the launch event.
With the Dimensity 6400 chipset and Android 16, the Moto G37 series aims to deliver a smooth and up-to-date software experience at an affordable price point. The launch is highly anticipated as Motorola continues to strengthen its presence in the competitive Indian smartphone market.
