Motorola has introduced the Moto Razr Fold, its first foldable smartphone featuring a flap-style form factor, in the Indian market today. Alongside this device, the company also unveiled the new Moto Buds 2 Plus in India. According to Motorola, these earbuds are designed to provide a premium audio experience combined with a stylish appearance.
Moto Buds 2 Plus: Features and Specifications
The Moto Buds 2 Plus come with Sound by Bose technology, adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC), and support for high-quality wireless audio codecs, including LHDC and LDAC. Motorola has integrated features such as Bluetooth 6.0, dual device connection, and a gaming mode. The earbuds are priced at Rs 4,999 and will be available through Flipkart, Motorola India, and leading retail stores across the country.
Audio Performance
The Moto Buds 2 Plus are equipped with 11mm dynamic drivers for deep bass, along with balanced armatures by Knowles for enhanced clarity and detailed sound. The earbuds support LHDC and LDAC codecs, ensuring high-quality, low-latency wireless audio transmission.
Noise Cancellation and Call Quality
Motorola states that the earbuds feature Dynamic ANC, which has been tuned in collaboration with Bose engineers. This technology automatically adjusts noise cancellation levels to effectively block external noise. Additionally, a Transparency Mode allows users to hear surrounding sounds when necessary. For voice calls, the earbuds utilize a six-microphone system with Environmental Noise Cancellation and CrystalTalk AI to improve voice clarity in noisy environments.
Battery Life and Connectivity
The Moto Buds 2 Plus offer up to 9 hours of playback on a single charge and up to 40 hours with the charging case. Fast charging support is also included. Other features include Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity, Dual Connection support for simultaneously connecting to two devices, Gaming Mode, Wear Detection, Fit Test, and IP54-rated water resistance. The earbuds also provide quick access to Moto AI features on compatible Motorola smartphones.
