Sony has unveiled the three complimentary games that PlayStation Plus subscribers can claim in June. The lineup is led by a notable title: Grounded Fully Yoked Edition, the survival game developed by Xbox-owned Obsidian Entertainment. This title will be available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 starting June 2.
Grounded Leads the Pack
Grounded is the headline act for June. The game casts up to four players as teenagers who have been shrunk to the size of ants and left stranded in a suburban backyard. It is a genuinely engaging cooperative survival title that exited early access in the fall of 2022. The game made its debut on PlayStation and Nintendo Switch in April 2024, as part of Microsoft's broader strategy to bring its first-party games to rival platforms. However, recent reports suggest that the Xbox division's current leadership may be reconsidering this approach.
Other Games in the Lineup
Joining Grounded are Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 (available on PS4 and PS5) and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide (PS5 only). This month's selection leans heavily into multiplayer experiences.
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is a four-player cooperative shooter from the team behind Vermintide 2. It blends melee combat with Warhammer 40K-themed gunplay across the besieged city of Tertium. Meanwhile, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 is a platform fighter packed with cartoon characters such as SpongeBob, the Ninja Turtles, and Squidward. It also includes a roguelike solo campaign for those who prefer to avoid online brawls.
EA Sports FC 26 Extended Availability
May's EA Sports FC 26 will remain claimable until June 16, two weeks beyond the usual cutover date. This extension conveniently aligns with a June 4 update that adds a 48-team international tournament mode, timed to coincide with a major real-world football tournament this summer.
Important Dates
All three June games become available on June 2. May's holdover titles, Nine Sols and Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, can still be claimed until that date.
