Trump Mobile T1 Preorder Terms Updated, No Guarantee of Production

The company behind Trump Mobile, T1 Mobile LLC, has recently updated the fine print on its website, raising concerns among buyers who placed a $100 deposit for the Trump-branded gold phone. The revised preorder terms and conditions now state that the company “does not guarantee that a Device will be produced or made available for purchase.” According to the updated language, “A preorder deposit provides only a conditional opportunity if Trump Mobile later elects, in its sole discretion, to offer the Device for sale.” This change comes nearly a year after customers initially placed deposits for the device, which has yet to ship.

Delays and Uncertainty

The smartphone, marketed under Trump Mobile and linked to the Trump Organization, has faced multiple delays since its initial announcement. Originally expected to ship in August 2025, the timeline shifted to November 2025, then December 2025, and later to “mid to late January 2026,” according to earlier customer service responses. As of now, the company’s website lists no confirmed release date.

Initially touted as being made in the United States, the messaging has shifted to emphasize that it is “designed with American values in mind.” Reports indicate that the device has received required certifications for US network compatibility, including regulatory approvals, but it remains unavailable for purchase. Meanwhile, Trump Mobile continues to offer refurbished smartphones from other brands, along with its $47.45-per-month subscription plan.

Customer Concerns

The updated terms and ongoing delays have left some customers uncertain about whether the device will ever be released. Even as the company moves forward with other parts of its mobile service offering, the fate of the T1 remains unclear.
