The Uttar Pradesh basic education department is set to organize a state-level training initiative focused on Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) to enhance the implementation of the NIPUN Bharat Mission.
Training Details
A total of 232 Academic Resource Persons (ARPs) and DIET mentors from 58 districts will undergo residential training in three phases from June 22 to July 10 at the State Institute of Health and Family Welfare (SIHFW) in Lucknow. The training aims to build a strong pool of master trainers to strengthen classroom teaching aligned with FLN goals and NCERT standards.
Selection Process
Each district will nominate four resource persons, ensuring subject teachers from Hindi, Mathematics, and English are included. Priority will be given to candidates with strong subject knowledge and training skills to maintain quality standards, said a government spokesperson.
This initiative is expected to significantly improve foundational learning outcomes among young students in Uttar Pradesh, aligning with the national objectives of the NIPUN Bharat Mission.
