Whistleblower Alert Exposes NEET-UG Paper Leak, CBI Hunts 'Paper Leak Mafia'
Whistleblower Exposes NEET-UG Leak, CBI Hunts Mafia

Investigators from the National Testing Agency (NTA), while tracing the alleged leak trail of the NEET-UG examination paper, have connected it to a printing agency located in Jaipur and a network of coaching centers spread across Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Haryana, Bihar, and Kerala. The Maharashtra Police in Nashik have detained a suspect in connection with the case.

CBI Takes Over Investigation

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a First Information Report (FIR) based on a complaint from the Ministry of Education. Subsequently, the agency conducted coordinated raids at 12 different locations across the country. This action is part of a broader effort to dismantle what investigators are calling the 'paper leak mafia'.

Exam Cancellation and NTA's Stance

Despite the cancellation of the exam, which was taken by approximately 23 lakh candidates, the NTA has maintained that the question papers were not completely leaked. However, the whistleblower's alert has prompted a thorough investigation into the security lapses that allowed the breach to occur.

The CBI is now focusing on identifying the individuals and organizations involved in the leak, with a particular emphasis on the coaching networks that may have benefited from the compromised material. The investigation is expected to expand as more evidence emerges.
