This will be the first time it is running during the month. Earlier, services were not scheduled in May due to the heat. However, this time, there has been significant demand, which is why the train will run.'

The main reason behind this decision is a sharp rise in passenger interest. The train secured a special charter booking outside its usual operating calendar, and reports indicate a 45 percent surge in passengers.
History of the Train
The Palace on Wheels was launched in 1982 by the Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC) and Indian Railways. Described as a moving palace, its interiors showcase the grandeur of Rajput courts with silk decor, royal motifs, and personalized butler service. Itinerary
The train follows a 7-night, 8-day itinerary starting from New Delhi's Safdarjung Railway Station.
