Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region, Jyotiraditya Scindia, on Friday called upon graduating students to become the "future builders of Viksit Bharat 2047" and concentrate on creating impact through innovation, healthcare, and entrepreneurship.
Convocation Ceremony at Dr D Y Patil Vidyapeeth
Addressing the 17th convocation ceremony of Dr D Y Patil Vidyapeeth in Pimpri, Scindia emphasized that a convocation is not an ending but the commencement of the rest of one's life. He stated, "The education, values, and experiences you have received here will give you the confidence to take decisions and contribute to the nation."
Encouraging Students to Think Beyond Employment
The minister urged students to think beyond mere employment, take risks, and maintain their connection with the institution. He advised them to "build something meaningful for yourself, build something for others, and build something for Mother India."
Chancellor's Remarks
The ceremony was presided over by Chancellor P D Patil, who noted that the Vidyapeeth has evolved into a multidisciplinary institution focused on academic excellence, innovation, and social responsibility since its inception in 2003. He congratulated the students and urged them to use their knowledge to serve society with sincerity and purpose.
