Tata Communications, through its wholly-owned Netherlands-based subsidiary, Tata Communications (Netherlands) B.V., completed the acquisition of a 51% stake in Commotion Inc. on December 1. The regulatory filing confirming the transaction was made public on December 2. The investment includes purchasing shares from existing investors and injecting fresh capital into the US and India-based company.

From its yearly low of ₹1,430, the stock has recovered by 40%, but its year-to-date gain remains at a modest 8.33%, trailing the Nifty 50's return of 10%.
