WhatsApp Launches Incognito Chat for Private Meta AI Conversations
WhatsApp Incognito Chat for Private Meta AI Talks

WhatsApp has unveiled a new privacy feature called 'Incognito chat' mode, designed to allow users to interact with Meta AI in a fully protected environment. This move underscores the platform's commitment to user privacy and data security.

Key Features of Incognito Chat

The incognito chat mode leverages Meta's Private Processing technology, which employs a server-based system using Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs). This ensures that conversations remain inaccessible to Meta or WhatsApp, providing an additional layer of security. Chats in this mode are temporary, with messages disappearing after a set period, while still preserving end-to-end encryption standards.

WhatsApp Plus Subscription

In a parallel development, WhatsApp has introduced a premium subscription service called WhatsApp Plus in select European countries. Priced at €2.49 per month (approximately Rs 280), WhatsApp Plus offers users enhanced features such as custom themes and pinned chats, catering to those seeking a more personalized messaging experience.
