Gujarat CM Inaugurates Modern Student Hostel with AI Lab

Surat: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Sunday inaugurated the newly constructed 'Jamnaba Vidyarthi Bhavan', a modern student hostel developed by Shri Saurashtra Patel Seva Samaj. The facility aims to provide advanced educational facilities for students of the Patidar community.

Facilities and Features

The grand facility, built at Valak Patiya, is equipped with residential and study amenities for 1,000 students. It also houses an AI research lab and an advanced library to support higher education and skill development.

Statue Unveiling and Auditorium Inauguration

As part of the inauguration, Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi unveiled a 31-feet-tall Panchadhatu statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, weighing around nine tonnes. Dignitaries paid floral tributes at the statue. Additionally, an auditorium named after former Chief Minister Keshubhai Patel was inaugurated on the occasion.

Austerity Initiative

As part of an austerity initiative, the Chief Minister travelled to Surat by train and used a limited convoy of vehicles during the visit.
