Trichy: Trichy city corporation commissioner Veer Pratap Singh inaugurated a training programme for officials involved in India census 2027 operations on Monday. Enumerators will conduct a door-to-door survey across the corporation limits from August 1 to 30. As many as 30 supervisory officials have been appointed to oversee and train the enumerators. The three-day training for the field staff, including around 1,850 enumerators, will be held from June 15 to 17.
Training Details
The training programme aims to equip the enumerators with necessary skills and knowledge for the census operations. The field staff will be trained on data collection methods, use of technology, and interaction with residents. The supervisory officials will ensure smooth execution of the survey.
Survey Schedule
The door-to-door survey will cover all areas under the Trichy corporation limits. Residents are requested to cooperate with the enumerators during the survey period.
