Mini India has announced the opening of pre-bookings for the locally manufactured Mini Countryman C. Interested customers can now reserve the vehicle exclusively through Mini dealerships across the country.
Pricing and Availability
Official prices are expected to be announced next month, with deliveries likely to commence shortly after the launch. The new Mini Countryman C will be locally produced at the BMW Group plant in Chennai.
Expanding the Countryman Lineup
Currently, the Countryman in India is offered in an all-electric version and with the sportier JCW package. The introduction of the petrol variant completes the Countryman lineup in India. The upcoming SUV is expected to be priced between Rs 40 lakh and Rs 45 lakh, positioning it as a competitor to the BMW X1, Audi Q3, Mercedes-Benz GLA, Volvo XC40, and other similarly priced SUVs.
Design Highlights
The Mini Countryman C follows the design cues of the JCW and electric versions, featuring circular headlamps paired with a more squared grille, an upright nose, and a revised bumper that gives it a stronger appearance. In profile, the design adopts a boxy silhouette with a flat roofline, upright stance, and squared wheel arches. The longer wheelbase improves proportions and interior space. At the rear, LED tail-lamps with a modern lighting signature, a clean tailgate design, and minimal detailing complete the look.
Interior and Features
Inside, the cabin features a minimalist layout highlighted by a central circular touchscreen. The dashboard design reduces physical controls while retaining characteristic Mini styling elements, offering a blend of modernity and brand heritage.
