Monsoon Progress and Rainfall Outlook

The weather office indicated steady progress of the southwest monsoon, which is likely to advance into parts of the central Arabian Sea, Maharashtra, and Karnataka. IMD added that south Gujarat and coastal Saurashtra could receive some rainfall by the end of the week, offering a potential reprieve from the heat.

Other Hotspots in Gujarat

Several other cities and towns in Gujarat also recorded high temperatures. Bhavnagar reached 41.6 degrees Celsius, Gandhinagar 41.5 degrees Celsius, and Surendranagar 41.3 degrees Celsius, highlighting the widespread heat across the region.
